How to Set the Maximum Memory to be Used by Windows 7

Windows 7 is the most popular operating system in the world since it offers many features and services to the user. One of it advantages is that we can set the amount of RAM used. This option will help us in getting good performance of our PC. Here, we will explain how to set maximum memory to be used by Windows 7. Of you are interested to do, follow these steps carefully.
1. Click on Start Menu and type msconfig and then press Enter (You also can do it by open start menu, choose Run and type msconfig and hit enter)
2. A new window will be shown. There are 5 tab options and choose Boot tab and click on advance option button.
3. Then, Windows will show BOOT advanced options. Check the box against Maximum Memory and set the maximum amount which you want to use. But, don’t set it under 700 since it can make the system will become unsuitable.
4. Then, click on OK button to close the BOOT advanced option window. Finally, check the box Make all boot settings permanent and Apply. But, make sure you have saved all your work since it will reboot instantly.
The RAM will work based what we have saved after reboot.
