Facebook today has announced the next generation of messaging which combines texts, chat and email together in one simple conversation dubbed as Facebook Social Messaging. This new messaging feature would be rolled out in next few months. If you want to get access to Facebook Social Messaging, you will have to wait or you can request for an invite before you can use it.

Log in with your Facebook ID and click the request an invitation button. You will receive the invite when it starts rolling out to users. Be aware that lot of scams for the Facebook messaging invites will come by in the next few days, so be wary of what you click or share.
